Jiffystrips® are made from compressed peat and are 100% biodegradable. These seed starting strips are great for seed starting and then transplanting. All you have to do is fill the strips with soil, plant your seeds, and when they're ready to transplant you can just tear the strip apart and plant the whole thing! No need to separate the plant. The peat will break down extremely quickly and will not impede roots.
