Because of its high alcohol tolerance of up to 15% ABV, White Labs' traditional Belgian Abbey strain is great for use in dubbels, tripels and Belgian strong ales. This strain is known to produce notes of pear, plum and cherry. A moderate level of flocculation will give you a clear, drinkable beer.
