This White Labs yeast, originating from the Alps of southern Bavaria, produces beer that is well balanced between malt and hop character. Thanks to its excellent malt profile, this yeast is great for bocks, doppelbocks, and Oktoberfest-style beers. It has become very popular in class American-style lagers thanks to its versatility.

Optimum Ferm Temp: 48-55˚F
