This yeast strain comes from one of the oldest stout-producing breweries in the world. While it is good for many beer styles, it does especially well in malty British styles such as stouts, porters and brown ales. Medium attenuation promotes a dry finish with roasty notes. Esters help round out the flavor, making for a soft, drinkable stout.
