Description
Wyeast's West Yorkshire Yeast strain is great for producing ales with a full chewy malt flavor and character. In addition, these beers finish dry and are well-balanced. Beers produced with this yeast will have moderate nutty and stone-fruit esters. This strain is best used making cask-conditioned bitters, ESB and mild ales. It is reliably flocculent, producing bright beer without filtration.
