Murphy & Rude is an independently owned and operated malting company located in Charlottesville, VA. They are committed to working with small and local farms in order to source the highest quality and freshest grain possible. They operate on a very small scale and specialize in specialty malts designed to deliver maximum color and flavor.
This Amber Malt is built upon a higher kilned base malt to deliver exponentially more depth than a traditional Amber. Flavors of biscuit bottom, roasted peanut shell, toasted Grape Nuts®, Bran Flakes®, and hard pretzel, with the slightest bite in the background. Great for big Belgians, Fall seasonals, spiced beers, Double IPA
