Fall is often referred to as the 'second spring' within gardening circles in our region. As we transition from summer to fall we begin to see more reasonable temperatures, a reduction in the day lengths, reduced insect pressures, and the cooler nighttime temps help some crops need to germinate. Plus, the cooler weather yields some of the sweetest and best tasting crops!
