Description
George Carruth and his team of artists have been producing lighthearted and whimsical sculptures for over 35 years in their studio in Ohio. All of their products are hand cast in stone using local ingredients and are free from resins. They're designed to be displayed indoors or outdoors and are durable enough to last a lifetime in either setting.
While walking outdoors this autumn, enjoying the weather and brightly colored leaves, Carruth had an idea. Why not sculpt faces on acorns? After all, the artist's favorite leaves to sculpt are oak leaves with the gentle curves and rounded tips of each leaf. Add two plump, smiling acorns, and there you have it, A Nutty Couple.
