Description
Akadama is a premium bonsai soil mined in Japan from volcanic soil and dried and sifgted to various grain sizes. used by Japanese master gardeners. Akadama soil changes color (it darkens) when wet, which provides a visual indicator of when to water your plant.
Japanese master gardeners, experienced customers and novice gardeners can use Akadama soil for their conifers and deciduous trees.
This particular product has been sifted through 1/8" and then 1/16" mesh to ensure that 99.9% of the sediment is eliminated and then bagged in a resealable pouch.
