Cutting Edge's pH Up is a highly concentrated alkaline solution designed to raise the pH of your water or nutrient solution. It is highly concentrated and should slowly be added to your water or nutrient solution while testing at frequent intervals. We recommend that you record your starting pH, add the alkaline solution in small intervals while stirring, and check your pH using calibrated equipment or strips. Note how much pH Up solution is used per gallon to reach your target pH in order to assist in future applications.
The amount of pH Up you use will depend on your particular water profile and nutrient regimen. Always monitor the pH of your water or nutrient solution with calibrated equipment or approved pH measuring strips. The pH range typically recommended for hydroponics and soil is 5.5 to 6.5.
